On Point. (or not!)

                                                                        They’re Back!!!!

                    

Fashion is, without a doubt, Cyclical but when it comes to this latest reoccurring trend most of us wish it wasn’t. If you haven’t noticed th return of the pointed toe pump, you will soon. This is a fad that was huge a good five years ago. I remember wearing these bad boys with my way-too-long-fomr-my-5’8-frame ripped jeans. I thought I was the hottest thing on the planet, as did most 18 to 20 year olds. It is definitely one of those things you look back at and cringe, kind of like a bad perm. So why, oh why are the stores filling back up with these? 

In my personal opinion, it has not been long enough for a comeback - trends usually take at least a decade to come back, and fads (which I was sure these shoes were) don’t come back around at all. Yet, here they are… filling up the window displays of stores from Forever 21 to Neiman Marcus. How do you ladies feel about this? Are you excited to see the return of the pointed toe or do you wish it died along with the ripped jeans? Who’s ready to trade their platforms in for some pointed toe action!? I most certainly am NOT…or….am I?
